Dogging locations near you

Dogging activity exists in every part of the UK, but we don't publish a directory of specific car parks, laybys or sites — naming exact spots publicly is exactly how a quiet, discreet meet turns into a well-known problem location that draws complaints, attracts people who were never invited, and gets a name mentioned to the police. What we can do is point you to where the activity and the demand actually sit, region by region, and towards the members in each area who are genuinely into it.

South West England

A long-running, reasonably open scene stretching from the M4 corridor down through Devon. Strongest around Bristol, with regular interest in Devon, Plymouth and Exeter, Bournemouth and across Dorset, and Swindon.

The Midlands

Leicester and Leicestershire is one of the most active dogging areas in the country by search volume alone, with Birmingham close behind as the UK's second city catches up to the demand that's clearly already there.

Northern England

Manchester has the single biggest search volume for dogging anywhere in the north, with Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle all carrying a genuine, active following of their own.

London, the South East & the East

London itself, plus the ring of counties around and east of it — Kent, Essex, Southampton and Norwich and Norfolk — between them cover some of the highest-volume dogging search terms in the UK, Essex in particular.

Scotland

Scotland runs under a different legal framework to England and Wales, which changes the etiquette slightly — see our dedicated dogging in Scotland page. Activity centres on Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, with the Scotland hub covering the country more broadly.

Wales

Wales shares England's legal position but has its own distinct scene — full detail on our dogging in Wales page. Cardiff is the main hub, with the Wales page covering the rest of the country.

Northern Ireland

A smaller but genuine following around Belfast, covered more broadly on our Northern Ireland page.

Before you go anywhere

Read our dogging rules and etiquette page first — it covers the legal position properly (it's different in Scotland and Northern Ireland to England and Wales) and the etiquette that keeps a meet safe and discreet for everyone involved. And before you rely on turning up somewhere and hoping, it's worth creating a free profile and messaging people in your area who are already into it — read how dogging actually works if you want the fuller picture first.
